Six months ago, I had an abrupt life event that shifted what I need and want with respect to my living space. I have
lived in a large house on a fairly large plot of land for several years and within a few months, found that taking care of
this space would be hard for me to do alone. Initially, I contacted a seasoned realtor who is part of one of the most
successful teams in the south-central Wisconsin thinking this person would be a safe choice. Within a short period of
time, I realized that this agent was driven by their own time and profit needs. My experience was that they may have
been pushing me to undersell my house and make a decision to move to another dwelling that I wasn’t convinced
was a good fit because they wanted to close deals quickly and move on the next opportunity. Additionally. This agent
didn’t contact me when the dwelling I was interested in was about to go on the market.  I met Michelle and knew that
the I had met an agent who was committed to her clients interests.  I can’t begin to tell you how helpful she has been
from the very beginning and at every point along the way. During our first meeting, we sat together and talked for
quite some time. Even though she hasn’t been in real estate for several years, I was aware of the ways in which her
background in counseling, coaching and teaching was informing her ability to help me in the identification of what I
was needing and wanting. 
We brainstormed together what I would need to do to prepare my house to be put on the market and she went as far
as to send specialists out to my house to assist me in making decisions about what would need to be done
immediately,  and what could be shelved for a while. She helped me take a task that felt overwhelming and we
created small projects. With respect to the process of finding a home, she diligently sends me listings almost every
day and has made appointments for showings before the general public has been allowed to view a space. She does
research on the space before we meet for the showing and is able to answer questions as well as trouble shoot the
issues and the advantages of each of the spaces we have walked though together. 
Michelle is an entirely enjoyable person who has an amazing ability to slow down and really listen to what her clients
are communicating. Beyond being   knowledgeable and passionate about her work in real estate, Michelle is very
bright, deeply empathic and able to use her background as a teacher, counselor, and competitive softball coach, to
help her clients navigate, and simplify, what can feel like a complicated process. 
I have worked with agents on a multitude of ventures and now that I know what a restate agent can be like, I won’t
settle for someone who isn’t authentic, passionate and connected to their clients.

We are so appreciative of Michelle's time, energy, and service as we navigated the sale of my mom’s house.
